HostBuddy provides AI agents and related tools — voice and chat ordering, memberships ("clubs"), value packs, reservations, marketing campaigns, and a merchant console (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or installing HostBuddy through a platform marketplace (such as Stripe, Clover, or Slack), you agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of the menu, pricing, hours, and offers your agent presents. Platform integrations use scoped tokens you may revoke at any time; revoking an integration disables the features that depend on it.
Guest payments for your orders, memberships, and value packs are processed by Stripe or PayPal on your own account — funds flow to you, and your agreement with those processors governs those charges. Refunds, chargebacks, tax collection, and compliance for your sales are your responsibility.
The Service uses prepaid usage credits and optional subscription plans. New accounts include free trial credits. Purchased credits and subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing prospectively with notice in the console.
You may not use the Service for unlawful content or sales, spam, or messaging that violates telecom rules (including TCPA). Marketing features send messages only to contacts you are entitled to contact.
Agents are AI systems and may occasionally misunderstand or misstate information. You are responsible for reviewing agent configuration and the offers it makes. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HostBuddy's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts of payment processors and connected platforms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections 3–7 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Santa Clara County.
