The math: why the list is the business

Campaign revenue is boring, defensible arithmetic:

audience × conversion × average ticket

A birthday note converts ~12%, a good full-list promo ~4–5%, a win-back ~2–3%. You can't control conversion much — but you fully control the audience. Every play below feeds the same guest book, and every guest hears from you at most once a week, so the list never burns out.

When a guest texts the keyword, the agent captures their name and email, enters them in the draw, and adds them to your guest book — every entrant is a future campaign recipient.

Anytime, from the console: Skills → draw a winner. Announce it, give away a lunch, run it again next week. The prize costs you one meal; the list is forever.

Bring the contacts you already have

Console → Skills → Guestbook → CSV import. Export contacts from your old system (or a spreadsheet of regulars) and import name / email / phone. Existing entries are enriched, never duplicated.

Does the raffle cost anything?

The mechanics are free — entrants' texts use your credit balance like any AI conversation. Your only real cost is the prize you choose to give away.

What does the agent collect from raffle entrants?

Name and email (so the winner can be notified) — captured conversationally by text and stored in your guest book, tenant-scoped and yours.

How do I pick a winner?

In the console: Skills → draw a winner. It picks randomly from entrants who haven't won before.

Can I import my old mailing list?

Yes — CSV import in Skills → Guestbook takes name/email/phone and merges with what's already there, no duplicates.

How often can I email my list?

HostBuddy paces sends so each guest hears from you at most about once a week — different guests get different stories (welcome, surplus special, win-back, birthday), so the list stays warm.
